Last Friday, April 17, if you went by the church around 6 p.m. you would have noticed that the entire block was full of parked cars. Why? We had 90+ people at the church! Amy Blewett's violin, piano, and viola students had their semi-annual recital. We also celebrated Charline Beard's birthday. We do not throw parties that often, but we know how and how to do it well! Both groups had a great turn out and everyone had fun!

Due to Ann Mills' new job at the Seamen's Church Institute, she will no longer be with us on a regular basis. Her duties now include being at a different church each week to speak about the Seamen's Church. She still will be around, just not to preach for us. We will miss her as she has served our church for several years and she has left big shoes to fill.
